LOCATION

The address will be sent in a confirmation email upon booking an appointment.
NO EXTRA GUESTS PERMITTED!

 

DEPOSIT

A nonrefundable retainer of $40 is required when booking, which goes towards your service. Retainers can be used for ONE-TIME rescheduling within 24 hours and are non-transferable. 
TRAVEL SERVICES 

Travel fees must be added at the time of booking. If not, a direct invoice will be sent via email and has to be paid the same day. No Exceptions. Please provide your full address when booking to ensure the booking time. Services will be performed in a common area , so please be prepared to make space for your service. I will need access to water, a sturdy table or counter top for supplies and a nearby electrical outlet.

CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING

Cancellations/rescheduling must be done at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment via call, text or email. Canceling or reschedules within 24 hours of appointment will result in forfeiting deposit and will require a new deposit to be made when booking a future appointment. No call/No shows will be required to pay 70% of pervious booking or will be banned from booking services moving forward.

 

TARDINESS

Please be on time for appointments; we offer a 15-minute grace period. For clients 15 minutes late and decide to come, your service time will be adjusted. If you are more than 20 minutes late, you will have to reschedule your appointment within 24 hours or risk forfeiting your deposit.

 

PAYMENTS

We accept Cash, Zelle, Apple Pay & all major credit cards. 
Refunds will not be provided for any services rendered.
Clients must rectify any dissatisfaction within 48 hours of service. 
NO REFUNDS ON ANY PRODUCTS PURCHASED.
 
SERVICES
All new clients that are interested in chemical peels or liquid microneedle are required to book a consultation in order to get a customized at-home skincare regimen to prep the skin 4 weeks prior to peel. Ethically we can NOT perform chemical peels on first time clients or clients that have not been place on a recommended skincare products to prep skin prior to peels.

  • Which chemical peel do I book?
    If you are a first-time client, we highly recommend these two options: Book a consultation to start a skincare regimen to NOT ONLY prep but also maintain your skin results throughout your skin journey. Skin prep is crucial if you are considering a chemical peel. Or book the "New client consultation + The works facial" to get a tailored skincare plan that includes a thorough chat, skin assessment, skincare regimen recommendation, a customized treatment plan to tackle all skin concerns and a customed facial that will kick start your skin journey that include: A deep cleanse, recommended exfoliation, mask, LED light therapy, lip treatment, hydrating and corrective serums, moisturizer, and sunscreen. We do not perform chemical peels on first-time clients or clients who have not been placed on a tailored skincare regimen curated by Desteni.
  • Is anything included?
    All first-time clients will receive a complimentary mini cleanser to continue cleansing at home. All package bundles, except our back and glute peels, come with a pre + post skincare kit to last you the 3-month duration of your chemical peel journey and after. Clients are responsible for purchasing retail-size products once initial products run out.
  • What is the Green Sea Peel peeling process?
    - First 24 Hours: Your skin may feel inflamed with slight discomfort (often described as a spicule sensation). - After 24 Hours: The skin can feel tight and may change color. You might notice tiny cracks forming on the surface. - Days 2–3: Peeling becomes more noticeable as your skin peels the outer layer. - Days 4–6: The peeling continues, revealing cleaner, less impurity-laden skin underneath. Aftercare: Follow the provided aftercare instructions to keep your skin moisturized and protected. Plan some downtime, as the process may cause discomfort for some clients.
  • Why can't I get a chemical peel on my first visit?
    Chemical peels are a great way to correct skin concerns, but we care about your skin barrier and keeping it intact throughout your skin journey. Ethically, we can not perform chemical peels on non-prepped skin. Before receiving a chemical peel, all clients must be on an at-home regimen approved by Desteni. We want to make certain you reach your skin goals without compromising your skin and our integrity.
  • Can I do Acne Bootcamp if I'm not located in GA?
    Yes, we offer Acne Bootcamp virtually!
  • What are your shipping cost?
    Shipping will be calculated in your cart at checkout, whether on our website or affiliate link websites.
  • How much should you budget for an at-home regimen?
    We recommend budgeting between $150-$300. If you can't start there, no worries; Desteni will recommend products that cover your appointment and schedule your recommended treatment for your next appointment. Desteni prefers each client be on a tailored regimen customized by her to ensure you achieve your skin goals. Yes, a monthly glow is great, but an everyday glow is the goal! 20% of the work is done in the studio, and 80% is done in the comfort of your own home.
  • Are memberships and packages automatically charged?
    Yes, memberships are set up with automatic payments for the number of months the membership requires, and packages are automatically charged monthly for how many treatments are in the package. If you purchase a membership or package and an appointment needs to be rescheduled please give us a call for rescheduling.
  • Do you offer refunds?
    Products: No, once any product leaves our studio, it cannot be returned. If your product is defective or damaged from shipping, it can be exchanged in person, or for virtual clients, please email info@yourskinsdesteni.com photos of the damaged item. Treatments: Do to the nature of our services, all treatments are non-refundable. However, if you have concerns about your experience, we encourage you to reach out so we can address them.
  • What is your late policy?

  • Which treatment can be done virtually?
    We retail one treatment that can be done virtually: Bioherb 50. Please visit our shop to purchase!
  • Can you recommend products virtually?
    Yes, we can tailor you an at-home routine that will help you reach your skin goals from the comfort of your own home. Book a Virtual consultation with us; be sure to have a budget in mind for your regimen and a clean, makeup-free face!
  • Can I bring a guest?
    To keep a safe environment, we kindly ask that only those receiving services be present in the studio. If you are under the age of 18 and want a parent present, a guardian may accompany you.
  • How do I purchase products?
    When purchasing products, there are 3 ways to get your products to you. Directly from Your Skin's Desteni website, shipping and pick up are available through our affiliated links that truly help support our business or drop shipping!
  • What is the difference between shopping through Desteni's affiliate links and on the website?
    When purchasing through affiliated links like Face Reality, Glymed Plus, and Clean Skin Club, we earn a commission on sales that still help support our business.
  • Why can't I purchase certain Face Reality Products?
    Due to certain acid strengths and not knowing which one you will need, Face reality took the precaution to lock certain products for professionals. If you are looking for a specific product like the Mandalic acid or Acne med, you have to be an established client already on a regimen or book a consultation to get a skin assessment to know if the product is right for your skin.
  • How do I make purchases from the Glymed Plus website?
    You will need to log in with the email that's on file with us and the password that was sent to your skincare plan via email. If you want to register yourself, it will ask you to "Find your Pro." You will enter my name " Desteni Dominick," as your pro, and an account will be created from there. ,
  • Can I shop for products in person?
    Yes, products can be purchased during checkout at your appointment or scheduled for a "pick-up" appointment. I will have your goods waiting for pick-up. Please note that if you can not make your pick-up time you will need to reschedule due to other appointments set up that day, and we will not be able to open up the treatment room during their scheduled time.
  • Where should I start?
    If you are a first-time client or have not booked with me within a year, we ask that you book a consultation or the New Client + The Works Facial to ensure a proper consultation and skin assessment is done prior to deciding on which facial is right for you.
  • What is a virtual consultation?
    A consultation and skin assessment will be done via FaceTime or Zoom. A tailored at-home skincare regimen plan will be created by Desteni that will help you reach your skin goals without treatments.
  • How should I prepare for my Virtual Consultation?
    Get comfy.... It's time to chat! Have the intake forms filled out before your scheduled appointment. The skin should be clean & makeup-free. Choose a space with good lighting, and bring or have a list of all the current skincare products you use daily. We want to know if what you're currently using it's truly working for your skin or if we can add or provide you with a full new professional-grade at-home skincare regimen.
  • How long does my skin need to be prepped to get a chemical peel
    It is mandatory that all clients who want to receive a chemical peel or who are recommended a chemical peel to correct skin concerns must be on skin prep for a minimum of 3 weeks to be sure the skin barrier is intact and the chemical peel takes to the skin in the safest way. Yes, chemical peels are great, but they can cause irritation, and you won't get the best results if the skin is not prepped properly.
